On rare occasions, the entrance to Strathmore Street is blocked by a road-work crew.
If you're on Kingstown Road heading toward the ocean, keep going. If you're heading away from the ocean, you need to get turned around so that you're heading toward the ocean. Turn left at the next traffic light. After a couple of hundred feet, the main road (Narragansett Avenue) will bend toward the right; you should take a sharp left off Narragansett Avenue at the bend.
You'll then be at a fork. As Prof. Berra would advise, take it. Wanda Street goes straight ahead; Caswell Street is to the right. (Caswell bends to the left and becomes Othmar Street after one short block.) Either one the Caswell/Othmar route is a little bit shorter will take you to Strathmore Street. Turn right and follow the signs to the museum.
