South County Museum logo Senior Tours: Life in a Coastal Village

A museum interpreter will lead each group and the tour will focus on various aspects of life in a coastal village. Living History demonstrators include the carpenter, the blacksmth, the printer and the weaver. Along the way, the group will visit the Rhode Island Red Heritage Flock, a flock of Romney sheep, guinea fowl and Narragansett turkeys. The group also will see our herb garden and vegetable garden, as well as the historic Robinson Family Cemetery.

At least 11/2 hours should be allocated for the tour.

Coffee and donuts are available during the tour.

Tours should be scheduled at least two weeks in advance.

The fee for the tour is $12 per person.
