Senior Tours: Life in a Coastal Village

A museum interpreter will lead each group and the tour will focus on various aspects of life in a coastal village. Living History demonstrators include the blacksmith and the printer and perhaps other artisans. Along the way, the group will visit the state's only Rhode Island Red Heritage Flock, a flock of Romney sheep, our donkey Juno, our goats Ada and Tansy and our Narragansett turkeys Thompson and Greta (and perhaps the wild turkeys that often come to visit them). The group also will see our herb garden and vegetable garden, as well as the historic Robinson Family Cemetery.

At least 11/2 hours should be allocated for the tour.

Coffee and donuts are available during the tour.

Group tours should be scheduled at least two weeks in advance.

The fee for the tour is $12 per person.
