An exhibit assembled by SCM volunteer and board member Bob Burford displays the shaving mirror used by the former president of the Confederacy and traces the winding trail that led it to the Ocean State. Left, the exhibit is in a corner of the Museum's Visitor Center. Below, the story of how the mirror got from the Deep South to here, passing through many pairs of hands along the way, unfolds.
