Looking for a meaningful, hands-on gift? Give someone a creative experience at the South County Museum! Gift certificates are currently available for the following classes:

Workshops & Lessons

Blacksmith Lesson – $125

Make a hook with a decorative twist and learn basic principles of blacksmithing.

Or a Three-Class Pass for our regularly occurring Hand Sewing and Quilting classes, where you will work on introductory sewing projects.

Textile classes run once a month from May through December.
Registration will open in April for specific fiber arts classes.
How to Purchase
Gift certificates may be purchased in person on Fridays and Saturdays from 10-3 pm in our Administration Building through December 20th.

Learn to Forge
Please note the forge is currently closed for repairs - opening spring 2026
We offer lessons designed to be an introduction to those curious about the art of blacksmithing. These lessons run for three hours. Classes will be available on Fridays and Saturdays for the 2026 beginning in mid - April, reserve your spot today.
You can book for a group lesson of up to four - $125 per person.

Personalized Natural Dye Class
Do you have any clothes, textiles, or yarns that you would like to naturally dye? We offer 3-hour lessons and guidance to those curious about the art of natural dyeing. 2026 season classes are available to schedule starting in April, but you can reserve your spot now.
You can book for a group of up to four - the cost is $60 per student.
