Learn to Forge
We offer lessons designed to be an introduction to those curious about the art of blacksmithing. These lessons run for three hours. Classes are scheduled for Saturdays from 10am to 1:00pm during our open season. 2025 season classes are available to schedule starting in April, but you can reserve your tickets now
You can book for a group of up to three - $125 per person.
Once purchased, class tickets will be sent to the provided email. Tickets will be emailed within 3-5 days of purchasing. Email elinor@southcountymuseum.org if you have not received your ticket. Bring a printed copy of the ticket, or provide the ticket number during the day of your workshop.

Personalized Natural Dye Lessons
Do you have any clothes, textiles, or yarns that you would like to naturally dye? We offer 3-hour lessons and guidance to those curious about the art of natural dyeing. 2025 season classes are available to schedule starting in April, but you can reserve your tickets now.
You can book for a group of up to three - the cost is $60 per student.

Private Lesson
Have you always wanted to try letterpress printing? Have your own project idea? Book a private lesson in the Museum Press and receive technical support and instruction to help bring your vision to life.​ 2025 season classes are available to schedule starting in April, but you can reserve your tickets now.
